Fireworks Infrastructure

Here is the basic infrastructure - I'll set up today.

# Email Setup and Communication We imagine setting up new email addresses for both the hitchhikers.earth and Visionfish projects by tomorrow. This will allow us to send out the manifesto and invitations from addresses like Robbie at Hitchhikers.earth, David at Hitchhikers.earth, Robbie at Vision.fish, and David at Vision.fish. The intention is to choose a simple, cost-efficient service for a low yearly fee so we both can easily add these addresses to our existing email clients, presenting a fresh and consistent image for communications. - [ ] Establish new project email addresses - [ ] Select email service for both domains

# Website Homepage Updates We imagine updating the homepages for both hitchhikers.earth and vision.fish to keep them minimal and inviting. The immediate plan is to retain just a spinning globe and remove unnecessary visual clutter.

There will be a clear link for booking meetings. Looking forward, we want to implement a ‘spike’ feature, where, after a meeting or engagement, a customisable spike is added to the globe to visually represent participant involvement.

These spikes could be scaled or annotated based on each person's contributions (such as time, energy, or funding). Eventually, anyone clicking on a spike could see more details, such as a badge or digital artwork inspired by H2G2 emojis, as a reward for their support.

- [ ] Update homepage with a minimal globe design and booking link - [ ] Plan to introduce interactive spikes as visual tokens of participant involvement - [ ] Develop unique digital badges as incentives for contributors

# Project Mapping, Calendar, and Next Steps We imagine extending the interactive globe so it can switch between showing participant locations and mapping out areas of expertise or project skills (rather than just geography), using the same spinning effect.

Initial development on the mapping and spike features (plus podcast and walking tour map additions) is scheduled for the coming weekend. Our next meeting is planned for Friday, and before then we want to define regular activities and set up a series of 42-day milestone events, possibly starting with gatherings at places like the RSA steps.

- [ ] Enable globe to map both expertise and locations - [ ] Integrate podcast and walking tour map features - [ ] Define activities and pledge structure - [ ] Schedule regular milestone events every 42 days
