Flowers From Books

The first step is always a flower. A participating bookshop marks certain books with a small rose or flower sticker. That sticker means: - a tiny amount of the purchase price (for example 0.42 units) is routed to a specific school project - the contribution is purely financial support

There are no smiley stickers on books. The sticker on the book is always a flower, because it represents money moving from the buyer, through the shop, into the project account.

Each flower contribution is recorded in a **flower bank** for that school. - One book, one flower. - Many books, a growing bush of flowers.

At this stage there are no smileys yet. Only flowers. The bush is made of financial buds, not stories.
