When enough flowers and smileys have accumulated: - the project changes state from “growing” to “blooming” - the school is informed that its literacy workshop is fully funded and scheduled - facilitators can safely commit to dates, materials and travel, knowing the money really is there During the workshop: - new stories are created that can themselves become smileys when shared outward - adults and elders can be invited into follow up activities - the school’s flower and smiley history becomes part of its public story After the workshop, the cycle can begin again with a new bush, new flowers and new smileys.
