Fireworks Documents

The plan includes enhancing the text layout, associating it with visual elements, and distributing it via email from addresses like robbie.stamp@hitchhikers.rarth.

A downloadable PDF and potentially engaging multimedia assets (like an animated GIF or video clip) will accompany the email. These materials will be presented cohesively through a refreshed landing page on hitchhikers.earth, which may also serve as a basic hub, with the underlying Wiki content not being a focus at this stage. This will allow recipients to feel that the project has been intellectually well-prepared, especially during follow-up conversations or events.

We are preparing a clear package around the Initial Ask to target an initial group of 10 potential supporters each, choosing individuals who are meaningful but not critical at this early stage.

The primary call-to-action will offer two options: contribute either £42 annually or the equivalent in volunteer time, shaped as a 42-hour commitment. This could involve participating in tasks such as content creation, writing, interviews, design, software development, outreach, or joining Zoom workshops.

We aim to test this ask with motivated individuals ahead of a broader rollout, using feedback to refine our approach and lay the groundwork for a sustainable, workshop-based model. These workshops would deliver tangible outputs like guides or videos and be funded by pledges ranging from £420 to £4200.

Immediate tasks include finalising and proofreading the email and related text, polishing the manifesto landing page, working with Zach on technical onboarding features, and deciding where and how to film a companion video piece (either at the RSA, in Wales, or privately).

We imagine presenting the project at a low-key event, potentially repurposing the footage for future outreach. Tuesday will be dedicated to writing and refining the email copy. Ultimately, this initiative is about reaching out in a personal, relationship-based way that encourages deeper involvement and lays the foundation for future institutional support.
