This is a more physical kind of meditative space. My flat is slowly becoming a shed-like space filled with gear, experiments, music equipment, cameras, tools — a creative space to build and play.
For others, their shed might be full of books, it might literally be a small outbuilding in the garden. It might also mean simply the space where I have my large pieces of paper and my coloured pens - there is still a joy in the process of handwriting for me too.
Here, we talk aloud while moving around, capturing thoughts through mobile mics rather than static setups. It requires different tools—light, mobile recorders—so I can move freely and let my thoughts travel with my body too.
