On this page, we gather what is missing or may be missing from the Seven Workstreams. Here we try to feel into the way we have decided to structure the project, and how the presentation may be received by the reader. For this we need to understand our reader,and anticipate their doubts. This is difficult work and easy to get defensive.
# The Feel
The project feels Governance Heavy. It feels like a board interested in being a research consultancy or think tank on governance issues.
This is good to the extent that that is what we are doing (Publishing Guides), but is suffers when the audience is looking to be reassured that an event, software product, of piece of media is going to be delivered within the timescale of the project.
It feels like we should strengthen the delivery aspect, or reduce the expectation around what is to be delivered - I believe the current structure will be vulnerable to the Delivery Question.
# Design and Art Direction
There is currently no clear role, or fellow for design and art direction. Several aspects of the project call for advanced art direction. We should probably directly structure this by funding a named fellow in this space or drop the requirements for such design in the first stage of delivery.
Elements that would require art direction include:
1. Galactic Special Effects. The visualisation of diverse deliberations and how they come together to form a cohesive whole. 1. Deliberative Interface. The design of mobile and hybrid group interfaces that support effective deliberation. 1. Hitchhiker Visual Identity. The visual look(s) of the Hitchhikers, story telling. This is a brand / public relations skill combined with an art direction skill that you would find in theatre, game design or movie production.
# Facilitation and Embodied Performance
# Akward Fellows Teh following workstreams, or perhas simply titles feel a bit unclear, or akward.
- Time Fellow. Is this Time or Ancestor Fellow required to be in the top tier (priority) of workstreams? Can this work be done within the focus of the Rewilding Fellow, Governance Fellow and Intelligence Fellow (technology)?
